Advantages: A little goes a long way
Disadvantages: None for me!!
Over more years than I would care to mention I have put my flowing locks thru hell and back. I was blessed with naturally curly hair but was that enough for me? Oh no!! I coloured it throughout the late 70,s (pink, green, red…well I was a bit of a punk !!!) then along came the gothic 80’s, so I simply had to have black hair didn’t I? I mean “mousey” didn’t go with the mysterious image I was trying to present!! After the birth of my 2 sons my normally natural curly hair had all but gone, as in less curly! I don't mean I had become a slap head!! So I found myself a great hairdresser and thus began “the perm years”. The last perm I had was over 3 years ago now and I am pleased to inform you all that I now have reasonably curly hair..perm free. However all the crap I have put it thru has taken its toll and I am now a sufferer of the dreaded “frizz” from time to time.Until that was I discovered this wonderful little cure!!It was by chance that I found it on the shelves at Tesco one day and decided to give it a go. I wouldn’t class it as a cheap solution, at around £4 a small tube, but Hey what price beauty..and I spend and spend and spend and still keep asking that question! How much more to I have to spend to become Claudia or Kate, or Julia or Helena...sob:o( You smear a little of it in your palms after washing and patting your hair dry and then style is as normal. It comes in a pump action bottle so it is easy to use. Oh I have just read that bit and I forgot to say that you have to rub it thru your damp hair, after smearing it in your palms, it wont actually work if you leave it there!! Ha ha!!;0) It is so easy to use and it really truly does work. You know how I LOVE to try new things out and I am not always impressed, but I really have been with this little bottle. A few months ago i was aghast to no
tice that Tesco’s appeared to have stopped stocking it!!! What was I to do? Was I destined to be called forever, 'Crystal Tips'?(I am a child of the 70's!!) I put out a plea on another op site..sshh! and was thrilled to be told that Asda were selling it. Guess where I was to be found less than an hour later? Unfortunately I was yet furher to be dismayed by the sight of Frizz ease free shelves..Oh nooooooo!! It was then that I clapped eyes on Asda's own make, Hmmm, thought I, "wonder if this would do the same job?" I should have known better, at less than half price of the John Frieda original this was a prime example of you get what you pay for:0(! I bought it nevertheless, desperate means lead to desperate measures, and I have to say that it isnt too bad but truly not a patch on John Frieda. Sorry forgot what I was reviewing for a mo! Which brings me to the end of this op, "Oi which one of you breathed that deep sigh of relief then??" I have manged to secure a lifetimes supply of JF Frizz ease now (best I never get my hair cut now!!)Thanks to Boots and Dooyoo vouchers *grin*! I am still using the Asdas cheapy one by mixing it 60/40 with JF, makes it go so much further! And I am still Scatty and still very red..see last but one op!!, but getting less frizzy!! Thanks again for indulging me! Kazzie!
