Advantages: Leaves hair soft and shiney.

Disadvantages: Makes my hair greasy if I use every day.

I recently reviewed Fructis Fortifying Shampoo for normal hair, as after years of trying different shampoos I finally found one that was suitable for my hair. Well with every good shampoo you need a good conditioner, so seen as I was so pleased with the shampoo I bought the conditioner to complement this.

Like all the shampoos and conditioners in the Fructis range, the Fortifying Conditioner comes in a large bright green bottle. The one I buy is a 400ml bottle and I think this cost about £3.50 but you can get smaller sized bottles at cheaper prices.

Fructis has a fortifying fruit complex and contains Fructose and Glucose, Vitamins B6 and B3, Fruit AHAs and Fortifying Lipid.

The conditioner claims to strengthen the hair from within and smooth the hair fibre from root to tip, making hair stronger on the inside and shinier on the outside. Now I don't know if my hair is any stronger but it is certainly shinier and looks so much healthier. It also perfectly detangles hair, my hair always feels so much better when I have conditioned it.

I tend not to condition my hair every day because my hair gets quite greasy and although I wash it every day if I condition it too it becomes greaser much quicker. That is probably the only complaint I have about this conditioner, when I use it my hair looks healthy and shiney, it also feels lovely too but I can't use it everyday as I would like to.

That said I do love this conditioner, ever since I have been using Fructis Fortifying Shampoo and the Conditioner my hair has never felt or looked so great.

Summary: Good conditioner.
