Repairs damage?? hmmmm not quite sure (Fructis Fortifying Shampoo and Conditioner - 2in1 Normal Hair)

Advantages: lovely smell, adds volume, softens hair

Disadvantages: Pricey, made hair greasey next day, dont believe its gimmick

This shampoo claims it has volume boosters which penetrate the hair shaft and epand it. It also claims it has vitamins B3 and B6, fructose and glucose to nourish the hair and repair damage. I believe that the product can boost the volume, which when i used the product, it did and I believe that the product can in some way nourish they hair and prevent help to prevent damage. However, can damage to hair really be repaired?? I do believe damage can be prevented but not repaired. My hair was badly damaged, but no amount of products i.e. conditioner, treatments etc worked. I just had to grow the damage out and start using preventative products. So in this case I dont believe in fructis' claims to repair damage.

Pros
-The shampoo has a lovely smell, one of the best smelling shampoos I have bought.
-Leaves your hair smelling nice and fresh
-Gave my hair more volume
-It also lathers up very easily so you dont need too much of it, which is good for my hair because it is long. This can be a cost efficient aspect to the shampoo too.
- Leaves your hair very soft
-Found it cheapest at discount stores - at Wilkinsons its £1.73 for 250ml

Cons
-Maybe good for other peoples hair types but this shampoo although made it lovely on the day I washed my hair, the next day it went greasey. With other shampoos my hair has taken 2-3 days to start to look dirty.
-Not so cheap when you buy from supermarkets and chemists.

Summary: not a bad shampoo/but not great either
