... more body. Good news so far! The packagaing: The infamous green bottles are a draw, they look environmentally friendly and are dead easy to spot on the shelves. The plastic bottle comes with a lovely lid, that you pop open with ease. The smell: This is the highpoint, there shampoo has a wonderful fruity smell, which is zesty and fresh and smells mmm of lemons, pears, apples, it seems so wild and fruity that you want to sniff it for ages! Anyway after the sniffing you need to get on and apply it! Applying: ...more

Good lord! People do buy this in their droves, yet I fail to see what all the fuss is about. The stuff really is not as good as people think! There are a range of Fructis shampoos on the market, designed for different hair types. I have quite fine hair and I am always searching for shampoos to plump up my volume and keep it in good condition, as well as keeping the colour in check. What does this do then? The shampoo is supposed to be good for people with fragile hair, the shampoo should give the hair more strength and vitality and more body. Good news so far! The packagaing: The infamous green bottles are a draw, they look ...  Read the complete review

Fructis Garnier is now my prefered shampoo brand, I did use this when it first came out as a new product on the market and to be perfectly honest, I wasn't that impressed. I have very dry hair which gets unmanagable sometimes due to the fact that I wash it and towel it dry. I hardly ever have the time to style it and once it's towelled dry a quick run over with the brush and off I go. This sometimes makes my hair fly away and when I come to brush it later the day after it is hard to get the brush through, I also have dyed my hair quite a few times over the past years and had come to the concussion that whichever shampoo I was going to use that it ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Fructis Fortifying Shampoo Frequent Use - Fine or Fragile Hair: I'm having an affair....... (1013 words)

….but please don’t tell my husband. It all started at the beginning of last week in Boots! It was love at first site, and I’m already pretty sure that it’s going to be a long relationship. I think it was the subtle curve on the outside, the bright green colour and the BOGOF (buy on get one free) which attracted me initially. He cost me £2.49 for 250mls, which is a little expensive in my books. However, once we got home I discovered there was much more than first meets the eye with this special person. To open him up I found a special little ‘ball’ on the flip up lid which meant that when it was time to get up close and personal in the ...  Read the complete review

Only use this product if you want your hair to resemble a chip pan/oil slick! Picture this:(and think of a 999 style Micheal Burk commentry!) It was a sunny afternoon when the victim of this tragic mishap walking into her local superdrug. Whilst hummimg and ha-ing about the cheapest, but decent looking shampoo she could buy, she happened apon a luminous green bottle glowing from the corner of her eye. She walked to the dreaded bottle, saw the half price offer sticker beneath, then pondered over to the counter whilst thinking of the things she could use her extra pound saving with.(Yes I know I'm cheap but I'm a student, nuff said.) The next ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Fructis Fortifying Shampoo Frequent Use - Fine or Fragile Hair: I told you I would... (202 words)

I told you I would write an opinion on Fructis shampoo for fine/fragile hair, so here it is. Basically, what I'm going to say is... DON'T BUY IT. My hair is definitely fine and fragile, after years of dying and blow-drying, so I thought that maybe, just maybe, this bog-standard cheapo shampoo (i.e. 2 quid in Boots and frequently on 2 for 1 offer) might do the job. But as per usual, I was wrong again. This stuff is awful. Even though it does smell lovely like apples, and appears to clean your hair on first application, I think this must be an illusion due to the "fresh" smell, as after I'd rinsed, my hair felt ...  Read the complete review
