Having quite fine hair means I tend to use a lot of products and my nervous nature means I play with my hair...both resulting in hair that is greasy after a day. I find that most shampoos either strip my hair of moisture or leave it so heavy that trying to achieve a style with volume is impossible. I've tried all the expensive salon brands and always go back to the good old trusty Fructis.

It has a pale pink colour and quite a fruity but sweet scent to it. Not enough to linger during the day but enough to freshen up. I tend to wash my hair twice with this shampoo, mainly because I feel this necessary to wash all the product out, if it was a more expensive brand maybe I would be a bit more thrifty but due to this often being on promotion at a couple of pound I throw the boat out and use twice.

The result is soft and clean feeling hair, I do find my hair gets a bit flyaway with this shampoo but once I use my surf spray (Go figure I wash my hair to use products to make it look unwashed??) it seems to stay put.

I have found that most supermarkets tend to have this brand in some sort of promotion such as BOGOF, 2 for £3 etc so maybe best to shop around, but even if you can'f find it on promo it is still extremely cheap at approx £2 for a 250ml bottle.

The downside to this would be that the bottle would probably not appeal to men, the scent isnt what I would class as feminine but the pink bottle is. But if your in touch with your inner woman go for it :)

Summary: If you need to wash your hair daily this is perfect.
