What do you do when yor partner has got normal hair that gets greasy quickly? You look for a shampoo that will help the situation out. You spot garnier fructis shampoo for the price of £1.37 for 250ml. Reasonable price. Sold at most major supermarkets. The bottle is bright green with a flip top lid, this lid is a little different as it has a ball type object situated on the opening so no more fumbling trying to get you finger under the cap. The shampoo itself is pearly white, quite attractive. The texture of the shampoo is creamy but not too thick and smells kind of appley. Maybe my eyes have seen green and imagined apples being the smell. I dabbed some on my arm and went into my 14 year old daughters room, I said smell this (she didn?t know what she was smelling) and tell me what it smells of, she immediately said plasticine. So now you have an honest opinion. It claims to make your hair up to five times stronger and smoother and nourish your hair from root to tip. I didn?t ask for stronger hair, I asked for something to stop my partners hair getting greasy quickly. The bottle has instructions on how to use. Wet hair massage in and rinse it doesn?t tell you to give a second wash. My partner has tried it both ways, one wash and two. Did it work, did the perfume or plasticine of the shampoo last? No to both questions. When my partner washed his hair it came out smelling, shiny and manageable. He washed it before bed on both occasions, when he did one wash and two washes. He went to work the next day on both occasions and came home. The smell was gone and the greasiness was no different as to when he uses Dove shampoo or any other shampoo. Would I buy it again? No way it is another con in my eyes. Handy bottle, nice texture, but no results. Unless as they claim my partners hair has been nourished from root to tip without us spotting it. I
t is entirely up to you if you want to try it. I myself would give it a miss.
