There are lots and lots of hair straightners on the market today all trying to cash in on the trend that looks set to stay...straight hair. How do you know which set of irons to choose?

Before I bought the futura irons I had owned a Braun cordless straightener, this was ok for just straightening out the ends but they were simply not powerful enough. Next I tried a Babyliss steam set as I had heard that the steam was better for your hair, alass, these to were not up to the job.

Next, I decided to invest in ghd irons but before I did I asked around to see if they were worth the £90 price tag. Everyone said they were excellent but VERY powerful, this scared me off buying them in the end because although my hair is wavy/curly it is also very fine a breaks easily. I wanted a powerful set of straighteners that would not completely singe my hair and break it further......cue the futura irons!

I wandered into a hairdressers salon and asked which irons they thought I should use, they recommended the futura ones and even gave me a demo...they sat me in one of their chairs and did my whole head in 5minutes. This usually took me about 45minutes before when using my old straighteners as I have longer than shoulder length hair. I was AMAZED!!!

I quickly bought them for a reasonable £56.00

I use them every 3 days on average and never have to re-straighten in between. Your hair stays straight until you wash it again. I have the odd split end,I confess, but nothing a trim at the hairdressers won't get rid of. I suggest using a heat protecting spray on your hair to minimise damage but even my broken, dry hair was NOT singed or hurt by the straighteners.

My hair glides between the non-stick plates that heat up in around one minute. There is also a built in thermostat that tells you when their ready and never lets them overheat. The temperature gets very hot so be careful but its not so hot it will singe hair.

I have h
ad my straighteners for almost 2years now and they're as good now as when I bought them, what an investment. Three of my friends have gone and bought the same futura straighteners now after seeing the results. One of them has got coarse thick hair and it makes it so much more manageable and sleek for her. Another friend has very curly hair and the results still lasted until she next washed her hair. So it is suitable for all hair types.

I highly recommend these straighteners to anyone looking for quality at a reasonable price.
TIP: If you spend longer on your hair with the straighteners and really flatten your hair then it gives the look of VERY straight hair.
But if sometimes, like me, you just want to iron out kinks and make hair sleeker then just run the irons through quickly before you go out and it gives a more naturally straight look too!

Everyone always tells me I have great hair, they never did before I started using the futura straighteners. I rest my case.
