Fransen Straighteners Break! (Futura Hair Styling Irons)

Advantages: Straighten hair really well, Cheap, Comb attachment very useful

Disadvantages: Old style seem to break

I've had a pair of fransen Futura straighteners for about a year and a half and they've broken! I honestly haven't used them that much (probably averaged works out about once or twice a week) and about three months ago they stopped heating up. I am just about to send them back to the company now.

My housemate also has the same straighteners and hers broke about two months before mine did. She had exactly the same problem with them not heating up. She sent hers back and they were replaced with the new style straighteners.

I love these straighteners though! I'm guessing there must have been a product fault on the old style ones. I have thick hair that goes wavy with one speck of water on it. these straighteners have been fantastic at straightening my hair. My hairdresser uses GHDs and they make my hair really frizzy, I don't like them. Plus the futuras have a comb attachment which pulls the hair straight as it glides down. Despite my problem with them I'd definetely continue using them if they are fixed or replaced as they are really good and I think i got mine for about £30 on the internet - absolute bargain!
