I remember about 15 years ago watching a report on Watch Dog about how poor Fructis shampoo was and how it lead to people having greasy hair and so I never ever bought this shampoo but it still remained in the shop so when this was on offer in my local supermarket I thought that I would give it a go and see if it had improved since that report I mean sure it had to else why was it still selling? I'm glad I did buy it as now it's my preferred shampoo! It comes in a very vibrant green bottle and stands upright. It's not a round bottle but is quite thin and tall. My hair has always troubled me. I suffer with greasy roots and a very dry mid section, I dye my hair rather often and use alot of heated appliances on it but the thing that I hate the most is frizz.....and that's the worst thing my hair suffers with in my opinion! At the time I bought a bottle of this on offer in Asda costing only a pound though it seems to very readily in all good supermarkets and chemists for usually closer to the £2.00 a bottle mark and there is a matching conditioner available to buy as well if you want to! Some may tame frizz but leave your hair looking greasy despite having just been washed and others barely making a difference to the frizz. I rarely find a product that I am satisfied with in terms of taming my frizz. One product I have been impressed with is this Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine shampoo and conditioner. ** Garnier ** Fructis is the name of the hair care range by Garnier providing shampoo and conditioner for every hair type sot there is bound to be ... Having run out of my normal shampoo and conditioner, I saw this in the pound shop and thought that it might just be the one to tame my frizz! Its been many many years since I have used Fructis hair products, so didn't have any real expectations as to what to expect. It comes in the standard Fructis packaging, which is a vivid (possibly even garish) lime green coloured plastic. The lid is a flip top which is ok, however when a shampoo gets to the last dregs I like to be able to stand it upside down so you can get all the product out without taking the lid off completely- And with this one you can't as it has a big bobble on it! But the packaging looks good, ... Read the complete review
