Advantages: Smell, Doesn't Turn White

Garnier gel is the gel which I use most often and is my first choice when looking to buy a new one. I generally go for the tube instead of the tub because it stops me from using to much and therefore lasts longer.

- Packaging -

The tune is a limish green colour and stands out quite a bit on shelfs amongst other colourful hari styling products, which is useful if you're in a hurry and need to find it quickly.

- Does it work ? -

Yes. The gel keeps you hair in place throught the day as long as you leave it alone. If it is touched quite alot (headering a football) then it quickly dries out and leaves a more waxy kind of look.

The main reason for me using this gel is that it doesn't turn white eventually like other gels. So you're not left looking like you have dandruff, which is obviously a plus point.

It's easy to put your hair the way you want if it's short, but if it's longer then I find this gel isn't really that strong and it's a little difficult to spike long hair up.

- Other -

It smells quite good - a bit like apple.

Costs around £2 to £3.

Available most places.

Easily washed out.

Works well with the spray version.
