Thought i'd try my hand at writing a review for a product that I have used for a quite a while now. I'm not going to bore you with my barnets life story, that's not what you're here for, long story short, guy has bad hair, guy buys this product, guy then has great hair. Simple! This is my favourite out of the range of the Garnier Fructis Style gels and waxes, due to a number a reasons, although I will state that, of course, all opinions are dependant upon the type of hair you have and what you do with it, so remember that! However, if you have hair that can be a bit of a hassle to handle, and is actually quite thin and 'straw like' (For lack of a ... Read the complete review

Hello everyone and welcome to this review. Hair hair hair...... That's me! Im very fussy about it. My hair has to stick up but I don't want people to think "Oh its sticking up?" if you understand me haha! Basically I want a product that sticks my hair up without people knowing I have put gel on it....... OOoooo I know! A natural sort of look. Thats what I was trying to get accross. Anyway, after trying so many different gels and mousses I had no success what so ever. Until! I saw this beautiful pot of what ever it was sitting on the shelf in Tesco - It had a buy one get one free ( BOGOF ) Sticker on it. So in the basket it went. I thought it ... Read the complete review

I've recently had my medium length hair loped off to a new funkier shorter style. Partly because I've always prefered it shorter and partly beacuase my adorable little baby was using my head as a play gym. Owww. As my hair has been longer, I didn't have any suitable styling products so off to the shops I went. I have fine hair and I find it hard to get styling products that don't weigh my hair down. I've learnt from previous experience that waxes, even if used in very small amounts, just don't work for me. This Garnier product is marketed as a "Texturizing Gum" so I thought I'd give it a go. The product itself reminds me a ... Read the complete review

Why do I need Surf Hair texturising gum? Let's start with the fact that I do not know a lot about hair products, fact. For about 8 years I had dreadlocks, then shaved my head and have kept it cropped for the last 11 years. I recently decided to grow my hair a bit, and my wife suggested I go to a hairdresser (her hairdressers) and get a style. So off I went instructing the hairdresser to "do something that I can do at home, and don't give me any waxy hair gel". So after said cut and 'thinning', yes I'm lucky that at 45 my hair needs thinning I went home and washed it to get all the loose hair out and set about getting the style back that I had ... I have used Fructis Surf Hair Texturising Gum for about 8 years now and I have never been disappointed, and neither have the ladies! ;) Haha. During my time of using this hair product I have tried other Gums and Putty's but I just keep on coming back to this Fructis one! I have fairly short spiky hair but as I hate going to the hairdresser, from time to time my hair get quite long. I try to style my hair as a mini Mohawk and this Surf Hair Gum works perfectly and holds all day! It doesnt become to hard and ridgid (I hate it when gel does that) and it always stays "workable" and can be adjusted when needed. As I have a motorbike this ... Read the complete review
