Good initially but results wear out (Garnier Fructis Style Surf Hair Texturising Gum)

Advantages: Nice effect initially, not too clumpy or thick Disadvantages: Effects fade as product drys out, couldn't support heavy hair for long I've used a number of different products on my hair over the last few years due to increases and decreases in length and changes of style. I used Garnier's Surf Hair for a messy kind of spiky look and it worked OK but I've got to say I'm not really a fan. When I first put it on my hair it seemed too thin to support any kind of style but as I worked it in things did improve as it started to dry a bit. I've got pretty thick and heavy hair so this could be the problem but after a couple of hours everything just went flat and I found my self constantly playing and teasing it but to little effect. Eventually I gave up and backed it up with some hairspray and this worked a treat and I ended up creating the style with Surf Hair then setting it with hairspray. Not ideal but it seemed to work. I've since changed my style a bit but still have a spiky/messy thing going on but I've found more suitable products. Unfortunately this just wasn't for me. Summary: Back it up with hairspray and it's ok, didn't do much without though |
