I purchased the Garnier Colourant (colour specified as light golden Brown) Like most I couldnt be bothered with the whole strand test situation and decided I would go freeflow garnier provides you with a nutrisse cream (colour of your choosing) along with an applicator bottle of your choice. So basically you mix the colour with the bottle b. so A& B together. Relatively straight forward with a shake it was all mixed up My hair is well below shoulder length and I was worried there wouldnt be enough to cover my full head of hair. I have to say not only did it cover all my hair when applied it came out in a kind of gel style and also white so you could see ... Read the complete review

I LOVE this product. I have coloured my hair at home for years. The two times I had my hair coloured in a salon were disasters! One time the highlights were trashy and yellow (I have mid brown hair and asked for very subtle colour), the other time it went way too dark when I was given vegetable colour and ended up like a goth when I had specifically said no darker! Unimpressed and with all trust in professional colourists obliterated, I have since coloured at home where I can decide what shade and how much coverage. The Garnier Herbashine is the best so far. I use both light (600) and medium (500) brown in my hair. I love that it is semi-permanent (lasting 6-8 ... Read the complete review

I first saw this hair dye advertised in a magazine and really wanted to try it, but the next day when I went into Boots and saw it on special offer, I decided it was fate. The universe wanted me to dye my hair, and it wanted me to use Garnier Herbashine. The dye comes in a range of 16 shades, ranging from blonde, through to browns, reds and the darkest shade 'brown/black.' It is also suitable for covering grey hair. In the box you get a pair of gloves, a tube of colour cream, developer milk, a conditioning shine treatment as well as an instruction leaflet complete with diagrams. The gloves supplied with the dye are those very poor quality ... Read the complete review

I thought I had to do a review on this as it's a brand new product, which I was very excited about -and no one else has reviewed it yet! I don't know about you girls (and guys?), but I hate colouring my hair at home - but I must as it's cheaper and saves money, and at times like these every little helps! The thing is; I hate the feeling of sitting on the toilet seat for 40mins, shoulders draped in a towel with a whole lot of cold "goopy gunk" covering my hair, whilst trying not to breathe in the toxic aroma! It's totally a pet hate of mine! I get really depressed when my greys start to show and I know that it's time to get gunked ... Read the complete review

I have been using semi permanent dyes for a couple of years now and have to say that this brand is my favourite so far! The info about the hair dye states that it contains no ammonia, is enriched with bamboo extract to help strengthen hair, works in 10 minutes and can help cover grey. It also claims to have a pleasant smell! Inside the box you get the normal instructions, plastic gloves, conditioner, colour and developer lotion. The process is very simple you just unscrew the developer lotion top and pour in the colour creme. You have to make sure you give it a good shake so it all mixes through (for around 30 seconds). You are then ready to go! ... Read the complete review
