No brass, no blue tinge! (Garnier Herbashine Fortifying Creme Coulourant)
Member Name: Jemma H
Advantages: everything, colour is perfect as on box Disadvantages: nothing at all Well in a nutshell this is easily the best semi perm iv ever used. I have medium brown shoulderlength hair and was long awaiting the arrival of a nice brown/brown black semi perm (all other brands came in shades either dark brown (which turns brassy quickly, or straight black which can look far too drastic. So when I spotted new garnier herbashine in shade 200 brown/black and seen the hair colour on the package i couldn't wait to give it a go. As i had a little semi perm still left in my hair from last time i couloured it (5 weeks beforehand) I was starting to get a little root regrowth showing, so i followed the instruction section for colouring with the root touch up method. It smelt gorgeous and did not drip or sting. Result-a gorgeous deep brown black without the brassiness or the blue tinge when natural light shines on your hair. The fortifying conditioning cream included in the pack made my hair so soft and silky and when i dried it it was like id just had a salon colour done. I have tried many other semi perms in these shades and the all have very unnatural results. Iv washed my hair twice now since i used garnier herbashine (with a colour caring shampoo and conditioner, and of course always seal with a blob of frizz ease serum to keep it looking smooth and the colours still lovely and dark with no hint of brass. So basically anyone who wants a blast of sumptuos ebony hair without the usual hassles give this one a go! i wont be using another brand again:) Summary: fantastic colour probably just as good as a salon |
