The packaging for this range really stands out, it's lime and yellow in colour with the model on the front showing the hair colour. I really like the scent of the conditioners you get with this colourant, it's a really fruity, delicious scent and the conditioner is really thick and creamy. I find them easy to use and they take around 30 minutes to develop once on the hair. I think they also o...more

Premium Review Garnier Nutrisse: faded and dry hair (269 words)

After watching all the adverts on tv about this hair dye i thought i would give it a go, it was on special in boots, 2 boxes for £7 so i brought them, i need two as my hair is long enough to be sat on. I was not impressed with this dye at all but maybe i was expecting too much, In the box you get the usual stuff, a botle, a tube, gloves and a conditioner sachet. I used the gloves as i always do and that was fine, the mixtures were easy enough to mix together and it was easy to apply to my hair. You have to leave it on for 25 minutes which is about average for a hair dye. The disapointing part comes after, once i washed it off ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The nations favourite......including Davina!! (325 words)

This is another range of hair colourant I really like. Garnier Nutrisse come in a great range of natural looking colours, also they have a nice vibrant red which isn't too natural looking but is a fab colour. My hair has been every colour under the rainbow and I may review a few different brands of hair colour as I use them so often!! This one I like particularly because it doesn't smell as strong as others and it seems to have quite a fruity scent to it. I remember when it used to come with a little vial of almond oil but this is now already in the developer bottle so no more fiddely bit's to be sorting out. In the carton you now get a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Garnier Nutrisse - Great product if you want a natural look. (452 words)

This review is specific to shade #10, Black Liquorice. I have not used any of the other colour options within this range. I chose Garnier Nutrisse as an alternative to my usual hair dye as it was the only brand available in the express supermarket offering a black shade and it had received positive reviews on this site. Upon opening the box I was impressed with the clear instruction leaflet and the packaging in general which included a smart box that can be used as a stand for the dye bottle too. The product itself was thick and creamy and viscous enough to mean there was no needless mess, the only accident was a small spot of dye on a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Garnier Nutrisse Hair Dye (652 words)

Five minutes ago I was in the bathroom applying a Garnier Nutrisse hair dye to my hair with a strong but luckily not too toxic smell and a silky consistency. I had high hopes for this hair dye as I have heard a lot of good things about it so I will see if it lives up to my expectations! I am sat here writing this review with the Garnier Nutrisse hair colour on my hair, so I will give feedback on the results after the recommended 25 minutes. (I would usually leave hair dye on for 5 minutes longer that the recommended time but as my hair has been dyed many times before it takes to the colour better. This applies to most people with dyed hair so try to leave it ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Garnier Nutrisse: Lovely result but take care when applying! (495 words)
by - written on 27/09/09 (Very useful, 40 readings)

I haven't dyed my hair since before I had my two sons, but as a teenager I used to do it all the time and have made my way through most of the major brands. I decided on the Garnier Nutrisse (Deep Frosted Brown) as it was on offer and the colour looked like what I wanted, a darker, richer shade of brown as I'm brunette already but my natural colour is a little dull. The product is to be applied to dry hair, which makes it easier, but they do recommend not having washed your hair for at least 48 hours prior to use so if you have washed your hair that morning you will then have to wait a few days. The preparation is fairly straightforward although I would ...  Read the complete review
