Disadvantages: fades and leaves your hair very dry

After watching all the adverts on tv about this hair dye i thought i would give it a go, it was on special in boots, 2 boxes for £7 so i brought them, i need two as my hair is long enough to be sat on.

I was not impressed with this dye at all but maybe i was expecting too much, In the box you get the usual stuff, a botle, a tube, gloves and a conditioner sachet.

I used the gloves as i always do and that was fine, the mixtures were easy enough to mix together and it was easy to apply to my hair.

You have to leave it on for 25 minutes which is about average for a hair dye.

The disapointing part comes after, once i washed it off and used the sachet of conditioner provided my hair still felt very dry and like straw, it didnt feel any better than any normal hair dye did.
That was my first disapointment.

My second disapointment was that having such long hair i dont like to dye all of my hair every time i dye the roots unless i am changing the colour but this hair dye had faded that much by the time i dyed my roots 6 weeks later i had to dye all of the hair again, this was not good at all, usually hair dyes will last 12 weeks on my hair before fading enough to be noticed.

After all the good things the adverts said about this dye i was very disapointed.

Summary: not as good as i was expecting it to be
