Advantages: Easy to apply, long lasting colour

Disadvantages: The gloves are a little too big

Hair is our crowning glory but these days, most people cannot afford to keep running to the hairdressers every 3 to 4 weeks for an expensive colour. Over the years i sampled a variety of home hair colourants, ranging from the perfect purple to a very gothic black.

Garnier Nutrisse, comes with instructions and a pair of gloves, together with the usual colourant to be added to the base. The gloves are far too big though. The formed mixture is a good consistancy and tends not to drip down the neck or face. It is applied from the nozel of the bottle into which the colourant is added.

The smell is quite pleasant but do be advised to test it at least 24 hours before applying, as you would with most hair dyes. It normally takes between 40-50 minutes before washing the dye out and applying the excellent conditioner that is provided.

This hair colourant leaves a good shine on the hair and provides lasting softness, and i do tend to find the colour lasts longer than alot of the hair dyes on the market.

Overall i am very satisfied with this brand of dye and would recommend it.
