Advantages: Smells nice, leaves hair glossy and shiny, gives nice colour result
Disadvantages: None really
I love changing my look every so often as i get bored quite easily with my hair. I spotted Garnier Nutrisse Cream in Superdrug and thought i would give it a go.
It cost £3.99 and i choose shade 10 (camomile extra light natural blonde). This is a nourishing permanent hair colourant which means it will stay in your hair until it grows out or you get it cut out.
It contains a 60ml applicator bottle of developer milk, a 40ml tube of nourishing colour cream and a 20ml sachet of nourishing after colour conditioner. You also get a pair of gloves to prevent your hands from staining and an instruction leaflet.
I had seen the adverts on tv with Davina McCall and they actually quite annoy me but i didnt let that put me off. My shade was enriched with fruit oil so i was confident it would do my hair some good.
The box states that there is no need for a pre lightening treatment so this is great and i think saves you money in the long term. I was advised to carry out a skin allergy test 48 hours before use. I did this and it didnt affect my skin so i decided to go on with using the dye.
After applying, i had to leave it on my hair before washing it off. I was worried it would go everywhere but it didnt drip and didnt have that awful smell of pee that some other hair dyes have! I was quite surprised as it smelt pleasant and thats unusual for a hair dye.
My dye contained two times more avocado oil and when i had dyed and dried my hair i noticed that it was very soft and shiny. I have used other permanant hair colours that left my hair looking and feeling like straw but this definitely isnt one of them. My hair came out lovely and blonde and looked like i had spent the day in the hairdressers.
I would definitely buy this dye again and would recommend it to anyone looking lovely but cost effective hair colour.
Summary: Buy it
