Much better for thicker hair (GHD Hair Straighteners Salon Styler)

Advantages: makes doing this hair alot quicker

Disadvantages: they are slightly more expensive

Before I got my MK4's I had these.

The wider plates are perfect for those with long, really thick or afro hair as they make striaghtening (or curling!) alot quicker than using the normal GHDs.

One thing alot of people believe about these is that you cant curl your hair with these but you can. In my opinion you get much better curls as they are looser and bigger giving that more glamerous effect if you know what I mean which really works well on long hair.

As I stated before they are expensive. I believe these are about £10 more expensive than the normal ones but in my opinion they almsot pay for themselves in the time they cut from using other brands where it takes at least half an hour to get half way decent hair.

The only reason I didnt buy the Mk4 version of these insted of the slimmer ones is because I now have a short bob insted of the long hair I had with these.

Summary: well worth the cost
