I first got my GHD's a couple of years back, i now have the up-to-date version of the GHD's, the GHD IV Stylers and WOW what can i say. These are definitely one of the products on my "i couldn't live without" list, may sound dramatic but i don't know now what i would do with out these straighteners, hardly leave the house i'm guessing ;).

My hair is quite wavy and can get frizzy after washing, the GHD's have a high temperature setting so i only have to take a section of my hair and go over it once with the ghd's and it's straight, perfect coverage with no stickiness and static at the end, magic.

You can also create curls with the straighteners and the results are fabulous, really professional looking. They also have a temperature control so you can set the heat setting on whatever temperature you feel most comfortable using. It also as universal voltage so you can take them with you wherever you travel.

My straighteners came with a instruction booklet and a step by step how to DVD which teaches you how to create the perfect straightness, curls, waves and flicks plus much, much more.

Also spray your hair with a heat protection spray before straightening to prevent any future damage, also try to use an intensive conditioner at least once a week too. I've been using my straighteners for years and years now and my hairdresser as commented that my hair is in fab condition.

I paid £100 for my straighteners from a local salon. Also when you receive them make sure you register them on GHD's official website so you know that you have the genuine ones, these also come with a guarantee from GHD.
