GHD Hair Straighteners
I absolutely love my GHD hair straighteners and don't think I could now be without them. In fact I wish I had found out about them sooner than I did. I have used many int he past including Babyliss, Trevor, Nicky Clarke none compare to the pprofessional look that the GHDs provide.

How I found out about them
------------------------------------
I went to my hair dressers and explained that my hair was very thick and was prove to go frizzy. I told her that every pair of straighteners that I tried hadn't helped. I thought it was just straighteners in general but she showed me the GHDs and tried them on my hair.

First time using
-------------------
I loved how my hair looked after the hair dressers so I bought some and couldn't wait to use them. I plugged them in and thought I would have to wait 20 minutes but no they heat up in under 1 minute! I couldn't believe the temperature they reach within that time. I seperated my hair into sections as it was thick, started fromt he root to the tip.
-----------
Controls
-----------
Obviously they have a plug on and surprisingly a long cord about three metres so can easily move or even stand up to do your hair. They have a LED light just on the inside which flashed when they reach the temperature so you know they are ready to use. They also have an on/off button, I usually keep this on 'on' all the time so I remember to unplug them when finished.
---------------
Advantages
---------------
- Quick to heat up to temperature
- Long cord for easy movement
- They look very stylish
- Leave your hair poker straight and shiny
- Straighten hair quickly
- Available in a wider width for thicker hair
- Salon professional looking hair

Disadvantages
-------------------
The only disadvantage is the price as they cost around £100. I think this is worth every penny. I have had my pair now for 4 years and they are still as good as the day I bought them so have cost me £25 a year. Bargain! My advice is don't waste £30 - £40 on a pair which won't get youthe best results!
Overall 10/10 Couldn't live without!
Summary: Couldn't live without!
