Advantages: Glossy, healthy looking hair

Disadvantages: Can feel a little sticky on wet hair

I have been using GHD's to straighten my hair for about 3 years now and although I don't use the Iron Oil Thermal Protection Spray every time I did purchase a bottle a little while back.

The image on the packaging is instantly recognisable as that of GHD with their logo displayed towards the bottom of the packaging. The bottle is a good size and has lasted atleast 12 months so far without any faltering in the quality of the product.

The spray has a citrus fragrance and can be used on towel-dried hair before blow drying or lighty misted onto dry hair prior to using the straightening irons. On wet hair it can feel a little sticky on application, however once the hair is dry the stickiness is no longer noticeable. I suppose this is the product coating the hair so that it's protected from the heat.

After straightening the hair it looks really smooth and shiny. The heat protection spray makes the hair appear healthy and will stay straight and styled for longer.

A great product and a must-have for use with straightening irons.
