INTRODUCTION As a hairstylist and beauty therapist, I love all things that are hair and beauty related. So sorry folks here is yet another hair review. While finishing a client's hair last week I used the GHD paddle brush, to blowdry her long hair straight as she didn't want the overly straight look. Anyway I automatically headed from my paddle brush and realised it was something I use every day and I had never reviewed it, so here goes. THE GOOD HAIR DAY BRAND Firstly I will tell you a little bit about the GHD Company, just in case some of you don't really know what it's all about. The company Good Hair ... Read the complete review

=== The product === A hairbrush with a broad flat base designed to make it easy to blow dry large sections of medium to long length hair. === How to use this === Obviously you brush your hair with, it's a hair brush. The design of this brush means that it is particularly suited to thicker longer hair, such as mine. It will suit any length of hair really but it works very well at helping me to blow dry my longer, thick hair. As this has a flat base it allows me to blow dry my hair while brushing it and the style of the brush helps to ensure that my hair is dried nice and straight, more so than when using a standard hair brush. ... There has always been a lot of fuss about the ghd range, especially when it comes to the straighteners. Everyone seems to think they are a god send. I don't think they are as amazing as everyone makes out, though. This is only my opinion but OK, so they do make your hair deadly straight, but they also burn it and dry it out really quickly. And also from my experience they do seem to make my hair look really greasy the day after using them. I used to use the straighteners all the time but found my hair lost all its life so now use another pair, from the Babyliss brand which is one I really trust. I don't wear my hair straight anywhere near as much as I used to ... Read the complete review

One of the brushes I recently bought from the GHD website was the GHD paddle brush. My old brush had got to the stage where the bristles were falling out, the rubber underneath was ripping and it was definitely time to replace it. I had heard that GHD brushes were great and when I received them I was not wrong. The paddle brush is what I use as my everyday brush. I also bought the ceramic brush from the GDH website which helps when I style my hair with the use of my blowdryer but this paddle brush can be used as an everyday, regular, no heat needed brush. The brush is of really good quality. It has a fairly long black handle with the GHD icon on the ... Read the complete review

This is a great brush for long and/ or thick hair. My boyfriend bought me this brush at the same time as buying me the GHD irons. The brush is excellent quality. It's really strong and sturdy and the handle is really durable. The handle is really comfortable to hold and you can get a good grip of it. It doesn't slip from your fingers when you're using it. The bristles are excellent quality too. They're strong yet flexible at the same time. The brush is great for detangling thick hair as it glides through the hair quickly and easily. It can be used on wet OR dry hair. Using it on wet hair is perfectly fine. It doesn't pull or tug the hair ... Read the complete review
