Marry Me!!! (GHD Mk4 Straighteners)
Member Name: hyperellie1
Advantages: Fast heat-up time, Long cable, Amazing performance! Disadvantages: Quite expensive
For those of you that are considering buying some straightening irons, look no further than the one, the only...GHD's. I had a couple of other pairs of "ceramic" irons before these and not only did they not even come close to the GHD's performance wise, but each pair only lasted for like 6 months, which isn't exactly cost effective! I've had my GHD's for just over a year now and they still look and straighten like they are brand new. They heat up mega quickly yet do not seem to burn your hair like other irons, I do strongly recommend that you use the GHD iron oil prior to straightening as this does seem to stop your hair splitting for longer (although not completely eliminate it of course!). The other great thing about these irons is the fact that they have a long lead so you can move about more and it seems like I can straighten my hair much quicker with these irons than any others. Incidently on a different make of irons, my friend has just bought those Wet2Straight irons from Remington, she's been using them for about 3 weeks and her hair is WRECKED!!!! Its dry, split and very fly-away!!! Hope that helps someone! If your thinking of GHD or Wet2Straight for christmas, I vote GHD! GO GHD! Summary: |
