Advantages: They make your hair lovely and straight and you can also curl your hair with them

Disadvantages: They do get a tad bit hot, so you may have to be carefull you don't burn yourself

GHD (Good Hair Day) are *the* straighteners of the moment, it seem like everyone has them, which is no surprise. I have previously owned two other pairs of straighteners and GHD's are deffinately the best value for money.

GHD's heat up in seconds to their full heat and can be used on any type of hair. I myself have naturally really curly frizz prone hair, and after using GHD's my hair is so sleek and shiny. They really do help to bring out the best of your hair.

As well as using them the traditional way, you can also use the GHD's to tong your hair to create loose or tight (whatever your preference) curls, or even Chrlie's Angel's type flicks.

They are very popular and you'll find that most hairdressers use and stock them, and they are recoomended by all the stylists and celebrities.

They are a slightly expensive retailing at anything from £90 to £100 at most hair outlets, but they are well worth the money. There have been reports aboput the earlier models of the straighteners exploading, (nothing serious just a small bang) but the models available now are fine (i've never had a problem).

They do get very hot so i would advise you use them carefully, i myself have received numerous burns to the ear for being careless.

You can buy lots of products in conjunction with GHD's such as styling products and accessories.

I would reccomend these to everyone who is sick of having troublesome hair, they really do work, whatever your hair type. They are well worth the money.
