After receiving a FAKE pair of pink limited edition GHD'S straighteners for Christmas, I finally got my money back and purchased a proper pair of mk4s a few days ago when I tried them out they where amazing.

Iv got EXTREMLEY thick wavy bushy hair and didn't believe that any straighteners would ever do the job of straightening my crazy bush of an head, The closest pair of straighteners that have ever got as close as the GHD's are the Remington wet to straights.

But oh my gosh what can I say 1 stroke of my hair and It was poker straight and so shiny and sleek I was gob smacked and at £127 they where pricey but well worth the money. Id advise any girl or boy at that matter to get a pair there simply the best.

The Straighteners come in a nicely presented box with a CD which explains how to use the GHD's on your hair and 2 booklets showing you the different hair products they do and obviously the instructions which doesn't really explain much really. The instruction book also comes with registration cards to register your GHD's.

The straighteners them selves are so cute, Stylish and lovely to look at Id recommend them to anybody although I wouldn't recommend daily use as they are extremely hot and can dry out and damage the hair, All In all though GHD's the best by far I love them x x x

The GHD's also only come with only one heat setting that is extremely hot, You cannot change the heat to suit you which is why daily use wouldn't be very wise. I've also heard rumours about the actual straighteners breaking quite easily which has worried me but hopefully wont happen to myself

Id also like to warn you all about fake ghds be very careful It Is very difficult to tell real from fake always buy your GHD's from a good hair stylists as there are so many fakes going around and they look so authentic that even some hairstylists are selling them now unaware that they are not real GHD's and as the fakes have been put together with unreliable materials are extremely dangerous and harmful.

One of the best ways to spot a fake from an authentic is by looking at the label on the wire the hologram on the label should have either a model's face or a picture of an actual pair of GHD's and should come in a sealed box (the pink GHD's are not sealed) The fake GHD's also come with an instruction leaflet witch is in a clear case (The real GHD's do not have a leaflet in a clear case) And the writing In the leaflet is very badly printed.

Summary: Perfect get a pair and see for your self
