Advantages: Heats up well and even turns off if forgetful

Disadvantages: expensive and extra insurance is reccomended

I have always used GHDs and they are brilliant. I had the Mk 3 but sold them so i could get these Mk4 in hot pink, my favourite colour!They have a shiver mode which is where if the room goes below 5 degrees it switches off to prevent damage. It turns off in 30 minutes which i think is brilliant as i am very forgetful. It has a barrel on the top so you can also curl your hair and the curls are very nice and spiral like. It has a sleek thin shape so that the heat doesnt vary in the plate.
I recommend this product to anyone who needs a good pair of straighteners
GHD straighteners are an excellent product but they should require extra insurance/warranty as they are expensive and i know 3 people who have had problems with these and they broke (luckily before the insurance they had ran out) which is why i got extra insurance.
Theres one more point that i would make too, my friend got a pair from a salon which she paid £125 for and they turned out fake! They hardly heated up and the hot pink was peeling away so she took them back and luckily got a refund after threatening to take them to trading standards. So with that point i just made all i want to let you know is that there is fakes going around so makesure you buy from a trusted seller.
