addicted to my GHD's (GHD Mk4 Straighteners)

i used to have the mark 4 straighteners they were great and i had them for 4years and as everyone else has said mine also died due to a fault in the wire, after a few months of trying to get the last bit of life out of them by bending the wire every which way whilst using them they and i eventually gave up!

so because GHD's are not cheap i decided to go for a cheaper brand because money was a bit tight so i bought a babyliss pair for £15 at my local supermarket. i thought by now most companies must have caught up with ghd after 4years especially as on the babyliss pack it said heats up in seconds!

So i bought these straighteners, opened them at home and surprise surprise the manual says heats up in 5 MINUTES!!!! thats not seconds!!! so anyway i used these and they just kept ripping my hair out, after 3weeks of using these i seriously couldnt take it anymore my hair had so many split ends and seeing chunks of my hair stuck in these straighteners every day id had enough!! and they didnt even straighten my hair.

So i knew it i had to go back to the good old ghd's i bought the lV styler a few months ago and never looked back they cost me £99 free delivery with a free product and a free thermal heat mat.

They have improved since too they look better but also if inactive for 30minutes they switch themselves off, which is good for me as i once left my old ones on for a whole day! oops.

Once again i get to straighten my hair after seconds of heating up and they actually work, so i do believe im always going to be a ghd addict!

Summary: GHD compared to babyliss (what i thought would be a good cheaper alternative)
