Advantages: can straighten and curl

Iv tried many straighteners in the past but these arnt actually straighteners these are called Styling Irons. Many people seem to think they are just for straightening but its a common misconception as you can actually achieve a really good curl if you tilt the irons at an angle as if you are curling ribbon.

These are always used on me at Tony and Guy and if you are interested in using them for curling the staff are happy to teach you how to use them.

I have the bright pink ones which retail at around £135 but if you get the black ones which are shown in the above picture at around £120, cheaper if you are happy to buy older models or buy from Ebay or other on line stores.

Should you choose to buy them online, ensure you find out if they have the holographic sticker on them as these ensure they are authentic, I know many people who have bought them online and after they break, contact the manufacturer and send them back only to find they are fakes, so I woud recommend buying them from a reputable hair salon instead.

They take just a few seconds to heat up and beep at you when they are ready to use, if you want a straight look without your hair looking to flat do not iron the roots, I would also recommend using a heat protection spray as they get very hot and can damage your hair if you use them frequently.

Pin your hair up and iron in sections as this ensures you dont miss any parts and get a really good finish.
