Advantages: How it makes my hairs so smooth,with no frizz

Disadvantages: The heat can make your hair very britttle,if used to often

To say ghd's are a successful business is really an understatement, the business which was first founded in 2001, has gone to being a multi-million pound company within a few years.
They created ceramic straighteners which heat to 210 degrees in around 6 seconds flat, hundreds of pairs of these are being sold every day.
When i first discovered GHD'S, my friend had a pair which i borrowed one day, my hair to say the least is always frizzy and nothing i tried would get it straight, so i used to just put it in a pony tail and be done with it, when using my friends i was so pleased with how it made my hair look and feel great.
From then on i was desperate for a pair but at over £100 a pair i simply couldn't afford them, i remember ringing up my friend every so often asking her if i could borrow them if i was going out, and although it wasn't the same i really wanted my own pair
Then on my birthday last year my partner presented with a nice new shiney pink pair! happy was a understatement, ok ok so they where only a pair of hair straighteners, but most women will agree they do wonders for your hair.
I started using them everyday and after a while noticed my hair did start to look very dry and dull, i realized using 210 degrees of heat on my hair every day wasn't doing it any good at all, so i started taking more care and using good quality shampoos and conditioners.
Since GHD'S started out they have brought out a extensive range of hair care products which is a must if you use these products on a regular basis.
I now only tend to use them once or twice a week and only if im going somewhere special.
They are also very versatile too as there not just for straightening hair, with the irons you can do do tight curls,wavy curls, add volume to your hair, flicks etc. It just needs some practice and a little know how
