Ok I know there are already a million and ten reviews of this item on Dooyoo but I love them so much I have to have my say.

I bought my pair of GHDs (short for Good Hair Days) two years ago at Toni & Guys. I had a radical change of style from long to short and the stylist used a pair of these to finish the look off. I was so impressed with the results - within seconds my hair was left shiny as a mirror, smooth and poker straight - that I bought a pair there and then.

The only downside with these straighteners is the price, my pair cost me over £100 but the cost is worth the results ten times over, they heat up to 219 degrees in less than 10 seconds and glide through hair like a hot knife through a steak or butter. I find it best to have my hair very slightly damp rather than bone dry when using these, it seems to help the style set better and the effects last all day.

The straighteners themselves are slim and quite light making them easy to hold and work with for more than a few minutes, the power cord is a good length too, not sure exactly how long as I dont have a tape measure to hand though I would estimate around 2 metres.

My pair dont have a hook to hand them up with so I bought a seperate heat proof mat to place them on after use as they do take a few minutes to cool down and I dont want to risk burning or marking any surfaces.

I would definitely recommend these despite the price tag for their excellent results for both short and long hair.
