On monday I was given a pair of GHD's as a birthday present. They are amazing!!! My is is fine, wavy/curly and frizzy. All the other straighteners I've had don't even compare. When you glide them through your hair they do just that! It feels like your touching nothing! plus they keep your hair straight all day! I mean it, because for a start, yesterday when i went to school there was moisture in the air but my hair stayed STRAIGHT! Normally with other straighteners I've had my hair would go wavy again almost as soon as I stepped out the door but this time na-dah. No joke. Later in the day I had P.E. and it rained lightly and you know what? Even when I got inside my hair was still poker straight. By this time my hair would not only be curly (and I mean curly ringlets and everything) it would be frizzy if I had been using other irons. I swear my GHD's have worked MIRACLES! My hair is straight,shiny,sleek and perfect! even as I sit here now it is still straight from yesterday. I have been getting compliments from people both days saying how long and straight it is. On the down side I would recommend you use a heat protector as 180C is a lot of heat for any dead cells. I find that tresemme and GHDs'own protectors are good. I use the Breast Cancer pink one for fine hair. This spray is light so it won't grease your hair. They (the straighteners) can become addictive so beaware of the damage it could do to your hair. Overall for a £119.00 it is money well spent. I would not go back and am throughly happy with my new hair!
