These are without a doubt the best hair straighteners I have ever used! I received them as a Christmas present 2 years ago and they are still in perfect working order. The ceramic plates heat up in about 30 seconds and there is a red LED which flickers when they are hot so it is very easy to see when they are ready to use. The tong shape makes them easy to use and you don't have to apply any pressure near the plates as with some other straighteners which makes you less likely to be burned while using them. They get very hot so you do not need to keep going over the same section of hair to get it straight making them very quick to use. Although they are very hot, they do not damage the hair and there is little drag as you use them. They are very light so they are good for travelling as well as use at home. One word of warning: they can make your hair very hot so use a protecting spray and leave the hair to cool for a second before touching it.
