!I've got the kind of hair which is not straight and nor is it curly it's a bit frizzy and kinky and the natural look does not look good at all.

My hair is very thick and long so I need a decent pair of hair straightners to tame my wild locks!

First of all I would like to say I have had my GHD's now for about 4 years, I bought them for about £90 and I must say they are worth every single penny! They still work as good as the day I bought them!

I've always tried to save money on hair straightners but even the £40 ones were rubbish, and every time I went to the hairdressers I noticed they were all using and raving about them.

Infact most salons are using them, correct me if im wrong but I think they have to be verified by GHD for salons to use them.

They are light and designed well, and heat up so quickly, you can use them in under a minute. and they flash as they are heating up so you know when they are ready. Also the cord is really long.

These hair straightners are amazing you simply won't find anything as good it's the ceramic plates, they lock in moisture and smooth the surface of hairs making them glossy.
They seem to keep hair straight for a longer amount of time too, so you wouldn't need to use these on a daily basis unless you washed your hair every day of course.

Ideally you want to use some kind of protection spray before using GHDs as they are very, very hot!

The plug is also one of those which are adaptable so if you're on holiday you can change the pins to fit to other countries plug sockets.

If you're thinking about buying them, do it!! You can pick them up for about £80 I reckon if you shop around.

And if you look after them they last for ages, as I've had mine a good 4 years now.
