Resorted back to my old ways. (GHD Mk4 Straighteners)

Advantages: Cheaper than the coloured ones & straighten my hair perfectly.

Disadvantages: The price as they are expensive.

**** Introduction ****

I have previously owned two pairs of GHD's both of which have died a death, I had the white pure irons that only lasted a few months as I got into a real habit of dropping them so they soon gave up the ghost.

Before owning the pure white irons I had a black pair of the MK3 irons that lasted for years, they could be dropped and still worked fine, so this time I decided to go for the black MK4 as the MK3 had been so reliable.

**** My New GHD's ****

I went and paid 129.00 for my new hair straighteners for my local sally store, I had to pay for them when I ordered them, but they were ready to collect within two days of paying for them.

These are the mediums size straighteners with a inch wide ceramic plate, so they can be used on both my hair and my blokes as i have recently started to straighten bits of his hair, not that he would like me telling the world like this.

These are slightly different from my MK3's as they have a sleeker rounder design, to make curling possible with these irons, the actual staightening plates are the same size but the casing is a lot more robust than the original design.

They have an automatic shut down mode, which turns the straighteners off it they have not been used for at least half an hour. I find this very handy as I am always in a hurry and forget to turn them off, so at least I know I cant burn the house down.

These heat up very quickly and give the hair a great shine that looks and fells silky smooth.

**** My Views ****

In my opinion these are the must have straighteners, I recommend them totally.

As far as the white straighteners go, these are exactly the same but they are not colourful but as this saved me 25.00 i went for the original black ones which are very easy to clean.

I also got a years warranty so if these break in less than twelve months I can get them fixed of replaced, my last pair was bought from a salon and they would not take them back so buying from sally's as insured me I can go back with any problems.

Summary: Recommended.
