GHD's are hair straightners often used by proffessionals.

* Purchasing my GHD'S *
I bought my GHD's from my local Tony and Guy at a price of £99 , rather costly when you can get cheap straightners for less than a tenner ,but they do the job.When purchasing them , at the shop they said that I would have to insure them for £100 , because if they didn't work when i got home , then they wouldn't return my money , which i thought was poor considering I'd just put £100 in their pocket!
*Lasting Time *
I've had my ghd's for approx 8 months , and in my opinion they have lasted really well , compared to comments by other people who have said that theirs have broken in a short amount of time.

*Very Hot*
Like all straightners they are oviously hot , but these are extremely hot so beware when handling them , as it's very painful when you burn your ear or hand.

*Effect *
Unlike other straightners where you sometimes have to straighten for about 1/2 an hour to get your hair perfect , with these ones it only takes me about 10 minutes and my hair is looking as straight as a ruler! My hair always looks really shiny after straightening it (not sure what the straightners have to do with that but....hey they do the job)They also make my hair feel really soft.
One thing that I dislike about these straightners is that they make my hair really dry with split ends.It seems to be worse with these straightners though , probably because the temperature is a lot higher.

*Appearance *
The ghd's are black with writing in an orange colour that says 'proffessional styler with ceramic technology'. On usual straightners the writing comes off after a few uses but the writing on these have stayed on completely.
It has a lead that swivels to prevent the lead from twisting.This is good because it actually works.On my old straightners they didn't have this so they twisted and ended up breaking because the wires were all twisted.

*Overall Opinion *
I love these straightners cause they make my hair look good.After straightening my hair I seem to get a lot of comments about how my hair looks sooo good.
It's also a good idea to use heat proctecting products , because ghd's do cause a lot of damage to hair.I try not to use them every day to avoid ruining my hair everyday.Apart from that i don't know what i'd do without my ghd!I think they've lasted really well too!They work really well , so I would definately reccommend them!
