GHD Mark 4 straighteners are my 'lost on a desert island' item - the one I could not live without.

Ive had a pair of GHD straighteners since I was 14 and have never looked back since. They heat up quickly when your in a rush, bleeping to let you know when the required temperature has been reached and glide through your hair leaving it both straight and shiny with the minimum of fuss.

My hair is quite long and frizzy and other straighteners I have used (friends mainly) have trouble taming my hair, whereas the ceramic plates on the GHD irons leave my hair straight and manageable without having to press down too hard and go over the same bit over and over again.

If you have long hair which is awkward to keep straight I can recommend these as they have been quite literally a life saver for me. They can also be used to curl hair
