Quite simply, I could not live without my GHD's!! I am not being a drama queen, I really couldn't, if I did have to go without I would be late everyday for work as blowdrying my hair takes forever!!!

My first knowledge of GHD's was about 7 yearss ago when I went to a newly opened hairdressers in my local town, after washing my hair and blwodrying the girl ran the GHD's throufgh it, I was amazed! I was instantly hooked and although I am not an impulse buyer I brought a set there and then!!

So what is it that makes GHD's so special... They heat up to 210 degrees in 6 seconds, bleep when they reach temperature and mine even turn themselves off after an hour (great as I always had a fear of leaving the house and they were still on!) They really do work ,you only need to glide them therough your hair once (Root to tip) and the hair will be straight. I prefer to pin sections of my hair up and work in smaller areas, My hair is naturally frizzy and so for me to be able to do my hair in 20 minuites is nothing short of a miracle!

GHD's come in a black dessign, with ceramic yellow plates. You can buy the standard set or the sallon styler which has larger plates (recomended for frizzy or afro hair), there is a pink pair available on a limited offer as well as a range ofproducts (I have not tried any of these) I have not found the GHD's to damage my hair in any way but I do use a Kerastase protection cream on my hair whilst it is damp to try and protect it.
