Advantages: easy to use, digital, dvd demonstration

Disadvantages: cost, may burn you

I have the GHD Digital ceramic straightners. These particular straightners I have had for just over a year and a half, I use them regularly and have never had a problem with them yet.

The retail price for these was around £125 but I bet they are a bit cheaper now. You may think that is alot of money but to me it's money well spent. Just think of how much money you would of spent if you had brought a cheaper pair but they had broken, it would be a right inconvenience and then you would have to go and buy some more so you may as well spend a bit more money anyway.

The GHD's come in a rectangle box and it includes a dvd showing you exactly how to use it, not only does it show you how to use but also shows you how to create different styles. I personally like these because they are very versatile, you can use them for all sort of hair styles from huge curls and ringlets to poker straight hair.

The GHD's are really easy to use and once you plug them in and switch them on they are ready to use within seconds, which is really good because it wont take as long to get ready when ya going out. The GHD's beep when they are warm so its thats how you know when they are ready, The GHD digital ones also turn themselves off after fifteen minutes, this is really good because it is easy to forget to turn them off and if your still using them when it goes just flick the on/off switch and then you can carry on

There are some bad points the GHD's for example some people may struggle to use them, especially when trying to curl the hair on the back of your head.

Another con is that it heats up really quickly you may pick it up wrong and burn your self, or you may just catch the side of your ear and burn your self, its easily done so be careful.

Summary: A very good product that is worth spending that bit extra on
