I am now on to my second generation of GHD hair straightners and despite a price tag of arond £120.00 I don;t know that I could buy another type of hair straightner. Consisting of ceraminc plates this product claims to seal in natural moisture and which the damage done to the hair and prevents the hair becoming static. The design of the plates also allows you to achieve a variety of styles from straight and sleek to romantic curls (I would advise asking your hairdresser for advice on achieving these styles and products to help them remain for longer than 20 mins). The plates heat up within 1 min and an exciting new feature is the products sleep mode which automatically switches them off after 30 mins. Universal voltage also allows you to use them in any country. This product also comes with a DVD to help you achieve a number of styles although I was a little disappointed with this as it didn't show many styles and the model obviously had straightened hair in the first place and wasn't coping with the electrified look most of us are trying to combat. A good product and you will definitely feel the difference if you haven't used ceramic straightners before.
