Advantages: Sexy straight hair, Quick and Easy, Long lasting results
Disadvantages: None
I have extremely thick, curly, long hair and straightening is an absolute nightmare. I have used Babyliss Steam straightener, Babyliss Pro, Hair Tools Ceramic irons, and i thought they were all amazing when i first tried them as i didn't know better. When i first started to use Babyliss Pro, after using the steam straightener, i was satisfied, itmade my hair as straight as i thought it could get. Soon my hair became very dry and brittle, then it started to break. I assumed straight away that it was the straighteners i was using. I then heard about this new ceramic technology and being a very easily convinced person i bought the first ones i could find, which were the Hair Tools Ceramic irons. When i used them for the first time, i was amazed to find my hair feeling soft and looking so shiny. I have to admit i did expect the time i spent straightening my hair to be reduced, but it took just as long as before because i needed to go over my hair a couple of times for that 'sleek' look as the plates are quite small. Last week at college my friend mentioned there was a ceramic straightener that had a max temperature of 210 degrees. That night i was searching the web for information about these 'GHD Ceramic Styling Irons', i visited dooyoo.com and read the reviews and decided i was going to buy them. The next day i phoned around salons in London and found somewhere that stocked them. I got home, ripped off the packaging and turned them on, and since then i haven't touched my Hair Tools Ceramics. I have to say GHD Irons are the best straighteners i have ever come across, they are ready to use in around 5 secs and has reduced my styling time by 30 mins. It's absolutely brilliant and is worth every single penny of the £95 i spent on it. I strongly recommend that a thermal protector is used in conjuction with it to prevent any damage to your hair. My hair has never looked so straight, sleek or shiny.

- 25/06/03 I gave you a really high rating because this review is perfect (in terms of information relayed); at the moment I am looking for straighteners to straighten my hair, but I thought "Why spend £100 on GHD when Hairtools are just as good?" I have read every review I could find on the internet, and there aren't many comparison reviews, however, to find someone who has compared Hairtools and GHD has enlightened me and thanks to you, I am getting GHDs. Many have written that Hairtools are just as good, but I suppose I would not have been satisfied until I had proper proof from someone with truly curly hair. My hair is classed as kinky, and because you are the only person I have found who truly knows what it is to have unruly hair is, finding out about your views is the closest I'll get to truth without actually spending this money I don't have. Thankyou so much.
