i have been 'gifted' as you could call it with curly hair and i hate it. It goes frizzy as i brush and blowdry straight my locks and to give my hair a break from all the hot air i let my hair air dry by pulling it back but alas, the ends become curled in a messy frizz. i first came about the babyliss convertable that was a disaster. i then bought remington supersmooth which yes work, if you have a spare 3 hours to work on , straightning each section 30 times! and think of my luck this xmas when my mum and dad had bought me the ghd hairstraightners i had read reveiws about, and also saw at the clothes show 2002 (HWRE THEY USED MY HAIR 2 WORK ON FOR A DEMO!!!) i was so pleased! they work so well its unvbelievable if its anything i can tell you THEY DO WHAT THEY SAY! you can buy them from any websites that are SECURE please check that!! just type it into a search engine. they range from £80-£100 with offers of a free hairbrush or a travel hairdryer (!)

one thing i must say is that you do need to also buy the 'hair oil' which suprisingly contains no oil (?) but is excellent when straightning your hair... it makes shine, hold and smooths, as you could say, the ghd straightners best friend.
