When I had two friends ova the other day, they both brought with them their GHD ceramic irons. I have short, wavy hair but it is majorly hard to straighten (my babyliss ones last about 30mins). They didnt look like much and I was surprised at how quickly they warmed up, in about 6 seconds, compared to the 45mins my babyliss cheapos take. I borrowed the GHDs to do my hair and it only took about 5 mins to do but I was amazed at the result. My hair was soft, shiny and dead straight. I asked how much they cost and was told they ranged between £80-£120 but if you want the best deal look online! I got mine from ebay for £75 and they were worth every single penny olf my hard earned cash.

They heat up to 210degrees and the results last for about 2 days without any straightening products. They are simple to use and I was worried about heat transfer to the handle but was proved wrong as the heat stays completly in the plates. They are super light and you can hold the handles a distance away from the plates and still get enough leverage to close the plates easily. I would recomment these to anyone, you know you can afford them really!
