Firstly, I want to say that GHD straighteners ARE the best straighteners out on the market. They transform my hair when I use them - from a frizzy mess to the straightest hair i could ever wish for!!! BUT!!! after using them (regularly) for six months, I noticed a weakening of my hair and it has become very brittle and dry. The hair breaks off easily and it has become very damaged. I've been given loads of good advice from the hairdressers who have told me that it IS through overuse of the straighteners and have recommended to use them three times a week at the very maximum and try to only ever straighten the same section of hair ONCE when you are straightening your hair. SO! I still recommend people buy them, but NEVER overuse them and hopefully by following this advice you won't end up with the same damage to your hair as me!!!
