Disadvantages: Expensive, no quicker than any £40 straighteners, disappointing

I have very curly frizzy hair naturally. All my life I have wanted thin straight hair like most frizzy haired people. All my friends were talking about these new straighteners which would straighten my hair in no time. So I bought some at £100 and thought nothing of it if they were going to do the job they said they would.

They were delivered to me and in preperation I had washed and dryed my hair already. I took them straight upstairs and got to work sectioning and straightening my hair. First of all I could notice a big difference but as I went on it started to look very familiar and I realised that my £40 Babyliss straighteners which I had received for chrismas did exactly the same job and as the days went past my hair did not show any change to when i usually straighten it. I was thoroughly disapointed and have now returned them.

This may work for people with thin hair who want it thiner but if you have got thick hair I really dont recommend them. They are no quicker or more effective than any other ceramic plated straighteners which are less than half the price of the GHD straighteners.
