Well I'm a bit of a 'beauty' buff. I spend most of my time (and money..) on buying these new 'miracle' products.

After having my hair cut and styled by the wonderful Phil Gallager of Clipso he blew my hair straight with a hairdryer. It looked fab. But then when i was at the races it rained and then was wavy in all the wrong places again. :(.

I decided that something had to be done to get my hair all gorgeous again. I searched and searched and i found these straighteners called 'GHDS'. The website persuaded me and i bought them at my local salon for £90 (phewf)

I was brimming with excitement when i got them home. The packet looked very posh and intimidating. To set them up was quite easy, i just had to plug them in and flick a switch. Then wait until the red light flickered. I could even smell the heat, but luckily the ends are covered with plastic so no burnt fingers. To straighten you just had to pull the straighteners down your hair from the roots without stopping. I personally don't go from the roots because my hair is only a nightmare at the ends. But it is important not to stop otherwise you get a funny kink. After just one stroke my hair was poker straight. Now i wear my hair down a lot more and i've had many compliments. When my hair gets a bit soggy again (rain) it does go a bit kinky but nuthin that can't be sorted out!

I'd recommend these although i have heard stories about them smoking!
