I first bought a pair of GHD's 10 years ago and have had 3 pairs since then! I have to honestly say that it is the best money I have spent on products for my hair. My most recent pair (mk4) have been excellent so far. The GHD's heat up in a matter of seconds and are so simple to use. I have long, quite thick wavy (frizzy!) hair which I ... **** Introduction **** I have previously owned two pairs of GHD's both of which have died a death, I had the white pure irons that only lasted a few months as I got into a real habit of dropping them so they soon gave up the ghost. Before owning the pure white irons I had a black pair of the MK3 irons that lasted for years, ... Read the complete review

Hair straightners are a fantastic invention and there are none better than the magical GHD's. These can turn even the messiest frizziest hair into sleek, manageable straight gorgeous locks. My hair is naturally EXTREMELY curly, infact it is tight and frizzy ringlets. I'd tried dozens of straightners before, which left my hair puffy and feathery, rather than sleek and straight. I'm now on my 2nd pair of GHDs, and would NEVER go back to a different brand, as they are the only straightner that does anything to relax my ... Read the complete review

In the past, I was part of the 'GHDs are not that special' brigade, and used cheaper ceramic hair straighteners, I always insisted that they were just as good as the GHD straighteners but on trying my friends, I never looked back and was quick to purchase some of my own. My MK3 straighteners lasted 4 years before I finally traded them ... Read the complete review

GHDs (Good Hair Days) are the Elite of the straightening world. Beloved by celebrities, splashed over magazines and with fancy black and white ad campaigns they are known by all (yes even men who I have mentioned them to know what I'm talking about). In fact, while their customer base is largely women, I know these are quite popular with men who ... Read the complete review

!I've got the kind of hair which is not straight and nor is it curly it's a bit frizzy and kinky and the natural look does not look good at all. My hair is very thick and long so I need a decent pair of hair straightners to tame my wild locks! First of all I would like to say I have had my GHD's now for about 4 years, I ... I received GHD Mk4 Straighteners as a gift for my birthday about 8 months ago, and I have to say these are one of the best hair straighteners on the market today. You can only however buy them from hairdressers, or online. It came with thermal protector, and creation spray. The thermal protector helps prevent any permanent damage the ... I am a man, and I have an extremely upsetting but uplifting story to tell you. Recently (well 6 months ago) I decided I would grow my hair long, I have absolutely no idea why but I often get bored and try radical approaches with my hair (Shaved, Dyed etc). However unknown to me or as I like to call it "In the lady ... Read the complete review

Before I had tried GHD's I was not convinced a styler could be so good and what all the fuss was about people raved about them!! Price- £120 retail price. Seems expensive but they are worth every penny if you use straighteners regularly. I was lucky to get mine from a wholesaler for £70 but I would have paid £150 they are that good. ... My GHDs, if I was ever stuck on a desert island these would be the luxury item I would have to take! Before my eyes were opened to the world of GHDs I was constantly moaning that my frizzy, wavy hair could never be straightned no matter what I used. I had tried a variety of straightners before hand, but all seemed to leave it lank and ... Read the complete review

I previously wrote a review on how much i worship my GHD's - i love them and bought them after having several experiences of pinching my friends and sisters and that was it i was hooked and knew i had to buy a pair of my very own. A few years ago as a present I was given pink GHD's, they were the ones that gave money to breast cancer. I had never had straighteners before but fell in love with them immediately. Unfortunately I was a bit silly with them and used to wrap the wire around the straighteners, this meant that they eventually after two years started to stop working ... Read the complete review

I have had my Mk4's for about 6 months now and prior to this was using the salon styler. I can honestly say that I won't go back to any other straighteners again, ghds give exceptional quality and performance and I've never heard of any defects. These heat up pretty high, and I have burnt my fingers a few times so do be careful. A definete ... Read the complete review

GHDs do heat up to 210 degrees in 6 seconds, but the longer you have them the longer they take but it tends to be 10 more seconds which is still good for straighteners. Remember in the old days when you had to make a brew and drink the lot before you could even start to style with half harted tools? Not anymore! I have to ... Read the complete review

As I am sure you will already know if you are reading this, GHD's really are THE haircare product of the century. I ummed and aahhed for ages before splashing out and buying these hair straighteners two years ago as they cost just under £100, but I am so glad that I did. these straightners aare definately worth buying. they heat up to over 200 degrees in less than 10 seconds which is some speed in my opinion. they look very modern and stylish which is always a good point. the straightners are lightweight which makes it a lot easier to hold. they can tackle the curliest of hair and have it straight ...
