These straighteners really are the best on the market by a long way. I have had mine for almost four years now and they are still as good as the first day I used them. I can remember feeling really really guilty at spending so much money (£94 at the time) on a non essential item, but they have truely been worth every penny. They heat up with ... These are a cult buy for a good reason... they are the best on the market. There have been many copy cat versions on the market but no other straighteners come close. I have owned mine for over a year now and I bought them for a good price off eBay so in my eyes there are an abssolute bargain. They straighten your ... Read the complete review

GHD's When I was young I remember straightening my with an iron which by the way is extremely bad for your hair and leaves a line in it because it doesn't get to the root but my straightners which I used which were a cheap pair from Argos I think they weren't getting my hair as straight as I wanted. That was until my 16th birthday and ... Read the complete review

As a lad, it would seem a little odd for me to be reviewing some hair straighteners. However, and I'm sure a lot of guys will admit to at least using them once in their lifetime. Up until fairly recently, I had fairly long hair, which in the mornings, was just a complete pain to get straight. I originally tried using a set of Babyliss hair ... Read the complete review

These straightners are amazing!!! My hair is quite long (goes half way down my back), and it is very thick. In the past I have tried several other straightners but it would always take me over 1 hour to straighten it, and also by the next day my hair would be wavey again. However, with the ghd's I can straighten my hair within 30 minutes and it ... Read the complete review

These straighteners are the best straighteners! I don't know what i would do without them! My natural hair is wavy and frizzy and using these straighteners transforms it. They heat up really quickly and make a sound when they are up to optimum temperature. This takes around six seconds. There is also a red indicator light which changes to a ... I wouldnt be without my GHD straighteners, I absolutely love them. They get my hair poker straight even when im having a bad hair day and the results seem to last all day even if the weather outside is humid. I love the fact that you can curl with them as well which makes them perfect before a big night out with the girls. They are so versatile ... Read the complete review

Looking back over the last few years, it makes me wonder how I ever managed without my GHD hair straighteners. I had somehow managed without straighteners for years, then bought myself a pair of Toni and Guy ones for £30. I thought they would be pretty good seeing as they are a well known brand, but after a couple of hours, my hair started to kink ... Read the complete review

I have just received my GHD IV styler from www.ghd-uk.co.uk. I found the site recommended as a GHD approved stockist on moneysavingexpert.com. I bought them through an online payment page, and the process was very simple. I just had to enter my card details and verified by visa password. I then received both a call (to confirm my ... Where would I be without my GHD's? Flashback to being 13 again with frizzy, curly hair that stuck out like a triangle - Not a good look! I have stupidly thick and curly hair, inherited from my mum (whose is 10 times worse) and spent years trying to find something that would make my hair sleek and straight without chemically ... I got my first pair of GHD's a good few years ago now and now I would never look back at any other brand of straightners, GHD have gone from strength to strength over the years with many products in their range from mini and wide plated straightners and they now come in all different colours to a wide range of heat protection products. I love my ghd straightners! Ive tried many different types of hair straightners and they've all been ok, but ive never really thought that they straighten my hair particularly well. A commone theme, is that it doesnt stay straight for very long, which is very annoying, or that it takes an age to straighten my hair, and this means my hair gets ... Read the complete review

One of the most-spoken questions I hear is "what did we do without GHD's?". They've become and remained the market leaders in hair straighteners - despite the large number of competitors, GHD is the most recognised brand. This has survived through the creation of far cheaper ceramic straighteners, and this says something about the ... Read the complete review

Ive always used babyliss straightners but they always seemed to burn my hair after a while..so i decided to buy some ghds..i knew they were a lil pricey but heard they were the best out there. I have thick curly hair and i like to have my hair straight and thin.. what i like about ghds is that you can only go over the hair once or twice and ... Read the complete review

GHD's Mk4 straighteners are by far the best straighteners. Many other companies have tried to compete with them but none give the same result as GHD's. GHD's can straighten your hair and also curl it. They can be bought for around £90, a heat mat is also provided as they tend to heat up fast. You can buy protecting products for your hair i would ... FABTASTIC - I am sure these GHD straighteners are the best on the market - we bought these to use for the females in the family as we were so impressed with the result. As a young girl growing up I must have straightened my hair with a million different types of straighteners, I even went through a stage of using a towel and an iron to try and gain the silky smooth effect that the celebrities and models always seemed to get but never got anywhere near it. I have since used a few good types of straighteners ... Read the complete review
