I received these as a gift last christmas and they are still going good after almost a year. I also have a black pair of GHD's that I've had for about 3 years and they are also still going strong.

They both heat up in a matter of seconds-about 15 I think, So when I'm in a rush theres no waiting around for them to heat up like some straighteners. I just switch them on grab my hairbrush and they are ready to use!

They are my favourite by far from straightening to curling, I can have everyday hair to party princess in little time and hardly any effort. You receive a lovely carrycase and a helpful DVD that gives you the best tips on curling or straightening with these GHD's.

I would definatley recommend them, they all work brilliantly and also come in different colours and patterns now. The newest ones are purple and leopard print (which is definatley on my christmas wish list!)

Summary: Well worth buy!
