I never in a million years thought that i would ever buy a GHDS, i thought they were way too much money to spend on something for your hair. I was sick of going to work every day and by the time i got there my hair was like a birds nest so i invested in some purple GHDS. And all i can say in FANTASTIC!!! My hair takes half the time to style and stays straight all day without going frizzy. For ages now, I've always thought GHD's to be very overpriced. I used the Babyliss Pro 230'C ones for ages, and they did the job fine. However I was in a spa shop one day and I saw a display model of the purple GHD's. My favourite colour is purple, and I was immediately drawn to them. They have a gorgeous slightly silvered swirly pattern on them, and they seemed so light! Why a GHD hair straightener? Having seen the GHD adverts on television last year (the ones that featured amazon like girls passionately fighting over hair straighteners...whilst managing to look amazing at the same time), I became intrigued by GHD and decided to do some online investigations to see if they really were that good.. However, after having my hair done at the hairdressers and realising what a difference GHDs made to ordinary straighteners, I completely changed my mind.
